I've only had a flick thorough this so far but it's clear it's well written for both parents and pros.It gives great 'real life' examples which I think will be really useful for parents but also for pros to use to help explain to families what something 'looks' like.Looking forward to sitting down and reading it all.It does mention the pre linguistic skills too which I'm pleased to see as it's pointless focusing in words if a child won't look at you, something I find difficult to explain to families who are hyper focused on words words words. I love this book! I am a Speech Language Pathologist and found the book to resourceful and helpful for parents trying to work on communication with their child.It is in a workbook format, so parents can prioritize, and work toward the goals they make systematically, feeling accomplished.
